Artemis II Telemetry Explained - What the Data Means

Telemetry is the live data transmitted from the Orion spacecraft during the Artemis II mission. It provides real-time insight into the spacecraft's position, speed, and trajectory.

This tracker displays key telemetry values, including:

Velocity shows how fast Orion is travelling through space, which changes depending on its position in the mission. Distance values indicate how far it has travelled relative to Earth and the Moon.

Mission elapsed time (MET) tracks how long the mission has been running since launch. This helps align telemetry data with mission phases like orbit, injection, and flyby.

By understanding these values, you can interpret exactly what is happening during the mission rather than just watching a visual path. This turns the tracker into a real mission dashboard rather than a simple animation.
